Information Technology and Computers at Kettering College
  • There are over 50 computers available for student use.  The Computer Lab has 28 of these and each provide the following:
  1. High-speed Internet access
  2. Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access)
  3. Various programs that your professor may use in your courses
  4. High-speed, duplex printing in both black-and-white and color (charged on a per-page basis)
  5. Convenient hours for all students, whether you commute or are in the dorm (posted on the entrance doors)

NOTE:  Be sure to bring a USB flash drive as the lab computers do NOT have floppy disk or CD/DVD        drives.  These are sold in the KCMA bookstore.

  • The Learning Commons has 11 computers that have the same capabilities of those in the main lab – however, you can access OhioLINK, LEXIS-NEXIS, MEDLINE and other online reference sites as well
    • There are 8PCs with Internet-only access for library guests and visitors – these workstations can also be used for your convenience if they are not occupied
  • The Nursing Skills Lab also has 5 computers and there are 2 in the Sonography Lab
  • Laptop carts (located in several of the classrooms) are sometimes used by faculty for test taking, visiting a specific web site, watching videos, or other classroom exercises
