The Residence Hall deans and housing staff look forward to your arrival on Wednesday, Aug. 20. You must be registered for fall semester classes and pay a $75 room deposit before your room is confirmed. Students who sent their RSVP and paid the $75 room deposit will receive their roommate letters from the Residence Hall deans by Friday, Aug. 1. If you have not received your acceptance letter at that time, please call (937) 298-3399, ext. 55665 or 55601, to speak with one of the deans. If we are away from the phones, please leave your name and phone number, and we will return your call.

We are interested in helping you find favorable roommates, and we encourage you to take an active part in the selection. If you have a roommate preference, please let us know as soon as possible. Otherwise, we will assign roommates by the end of July.

The cost of a double room is $1,250 per semester, which includes, phone, Internet service and laundry facilities.  Upon arrival, all housing students sign a room lease that extends through the end of the academic year or ends at the conclusion of the enrolled program, whichever comes first. The lease is valid through May 2, 2009.

The rooms are equipped with phone and broadband Internet service; however, residents need to bring their own phones and computers with standard Ethernet connection. Phone service includes unlimited local calls. Students desiring long distance service should use personal calling cards or cellular phones.

Students may move into student housing on Wednesday, Aug. 20, between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. Students who want to move in prior to Aug. 20 must request permission from the Residence Hall dean’s office. The month of August rent is charged for early arrivals. Please note that all new housing students are required to attend the Residence Hall orientation at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 20. Important fire and safety guidelines are included in this session.
