 Kettering College students are required to attend Spiritual Emphasis appointments during fall and winter semesters. Please note these dates on your calendar. Attendance at each appointment is required; see below for more information.

Fall Spiritual Emphasis

- Friday, Dec. 5
Winter Spiritual Emphasis
- Friday, Feb. 6
- Friday, March 20
- Friday, April 3
On designated Friday mornings from 9:30 to 10:20 a.m., students, faculty, staff, and administration meet at Kettering Seventh-day Adventist Church, across the street from the college, to worship together. Students are required to attend these Spiritual Emphasis appointments as noted in the next paragraph. All college offices will be closed so that faculty and staff may also attend.
Attendance at Spiritual Emphasis appointments will be taken and recorded. Students who do not attend as required may be assessed $15 for each session missed. Automatic exemptions will be given to students who do not have classes before 11:30 a.m. on Fridays and to students who are registered for clinical requirements on Fridays. Any additional requests for exemption must be made to the respective program chair, who will have a form to complete. Students must submit their requests for exemption preferably before, but no later than, one week after the scheduled Spiritual Emphasis appointment |
