 During orientation and the following weekend, Kettering College will sponsor a variety of social events that will help you get to know your fellow students and are sure to leave you with a happy stomach! The best part? Everything is FREE!
Thursday, Aug. 21, will feature an all-you-can-eat pasta buffet, beginning at 12 p.m. at Kettering Adventist Church, across the street from the school. Join us in the gym on Friday, Aug. 22, starting at 11:45 a.m. for the annual pizza lunch. On Friday night, the crew from Spiritual Life will be your hosts for Aroma Café, a time for snacks, drinks and spiritual reflection.
The yearly “Bowling with Becky” event will be held on Saturday, Aug. 23, beginning at 9 p.m. Vans will leave the front of the school at 8:30 p.m., and maps will be available at the College front desk for those who wish to drive themselves.
 On Sunday morning, Aug. 24, venture over to the Student Center in the lower level of the Boonshoft from 9:30-11:30 a.m. for “Breakfast at the Boonshoft.” On Sunday afternoon, cool off with Student Life at the Splash!Moraine waterpark from 1-5:30 p.m. Pizza and lemonade will be provided. Dean Amy will have a limited number of tickets available on a first-come, first-served basis. See her during lunch on Thursday (Aug. 21) to get your tickets, while they last. |
