Cambridge Home Health Care Nursing Scholarship
- Two $1000 scholarships.
- Must be your first time enrolling in either an LPN or RN school for 2010-2011 or 2011-2012 and are now currently enrolled in LPN or RN school.
- Must be currently a home health aide/nurse’s aide or LPN for 2 of the past 3 years
- Need to provide two written positive recommendations from current and/or past employers.
- Must be an Ohio resident or a resident in one of the Pennsylvania counties (Butler, Lawrence or Mercer).
- Deadline for applications is May 15, 2010.
- To apply: Write to Cambridge Home Health Care, 4085 Embassy Parkway, Akron, Ohio 44333 and request a application packet. Visit the Cambridge Home Health Care website and click on "Scholarship Info" for more information.
Montgomery County Medical Society Alliance Scholarship
- Must have graduated from a high school in Montgomery County, or your family has established permanent residency in Montgomery County.
- Must be enrolled in an accredited health-related career program in Montgomery County.
- Please attach a current transcript of grades along with the completed application. You can obtain a copy of your transcript in the Registrar's Office.
- A personal interview will be required, along with a GPA of 3.0.
- Deadline is April 30, 2010.
- Application is available on the wall outside of Student Services office. Please return to Financial Aid Office by April 30.
KCMA Academic Achievement Scholarship
Kettering College Academic Achievement Scholarships are awarded to those students who have no previous college experience and exhibit a record of exceptional performance. The Academic Achievement Scholarship is available to eligible students for use during their freshman year at KCMA. Scholarship amounts vary and are based on your cumulative high school grade point average. Students with outstanding ACT/SAT scores may also be eligible for a scholarship.
