Selection Process

Promoting good health today prevents treatment tomorrow

• Only students completing the application process will be considered.
• Selection is based on:
  • Completion of prerequisites and academic strength demonstrated in the prerequisite coursework.
  • Evaluation of previous academic experience.
  • Evaluation of student personal statement.
• Additional qualifiers such as ACT or SAT scores and academic degrees in allied health or nursing may influence acceptance.
• Preference may be given to equally qualified applicants completing prerequisite courses at Kettering College.
• The medical sonography selection committee will review all applicants following completion of Kettering College’s winter semester.
• Final selections will be made no later than May 15.
