Transitioning to the Bachelor of Science in Health Professions

Empower yourself with skills to promote wellness in society

Students who are interested in working toward the Bachelor of Science in Health Professions degree may take up to 12 hours of HEPR courses, once enrolled in a clinical program of study and before applying for admission to the program. Courses that students may take prior to acceptance into the HEPR completion program are limited to:

HEPR 301 International Health Care Mission Experience  
HEPR 340 Legal and Ethical Considerations in Health Care (2nd year in a program)  
*HEPR 375 Cultural Diversity in Health Care  
HEPR 345 History of Health Care in the United States  
*HEPR 350 Pathophysiology  
*HEPR 360 Advanced Cardiac Life Support  
HEPR 325 Issues and Trends in Health Care (2nd year in a program)  
*HEPR 371 Alternative Therapies for Health and Illness  

*All prerequisite and co-requisite courses must be met as required by each course listing. See Academic Bulletin for prerequisites.
